Meet Chris
I grew up in Pine Bluff as the son of a minister, where I learned the values of service and community. That path led me to science, but I never left Arkansas behind.
My work has always been about building bridges: connecting faith and science, rural and urban, young and old — and respecting our traditions while bringing new, innovative ideas for our future.
Along the way, I’ve helped our communities grow. I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with Arkansans, fighting for stronger schools, good-paying job opportunities, and high-quality accessible healthcare.
What drives me now is a simple vision: a future where every Arkansan belongs, and where the table of opportunity keeps expanding with room for us all.
